A magnitude 4.7 hit the province of Sarangani in Mindanao.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the tremor hit the area at around 10:45 local time with the epicenter at the Celebes Sea or 132 kilometers southwest of the Sarangani.
The earthquake has a depth of 13.4 kilometers.
There are no reports of damages or injuries.
