Janet Lim-Napoles, the alleged mastermind of the P10-billion pork barrel scam, has surrendered to authorities Wednesday night.
According to an official statement from Malacañang, Napoles surrendered to President Aquino at 9:37 this evening. Napoles is wanted on charges of illegal detention from the alleged kidnapping of Benhur Luy. Earlier today, the palace has issued a P10-million bounty for information leading to her capture.
As of posting time, Napoles is under the custody of DILG Secretary Mar Roxas and Philippine National Police Director-General Alan Purisima.
