A Cessna 152 flight training aircraft with registry number RP-C8832 carrying two persons on board crash landed over a lahar trail Wednesday in Pampanga.

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Deputy Director General Capt. John C. Andrews identified the owner operator of the said aircraft as Omni Aviation Corporation, a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and Aviation Training School located in Clark Free Port Zone in Pampanga.

CAAP said that at 7:52 a.m. today, the pilot-in-command Capt. Eliseo de Luna with First Officer Christopper Logro reported to Subic Tower that the aircraft is encountering low oil pressure. At 8:21 a.m., de Luna notified the tower that he will make a forced landing over a lahar trail.

The latest report on the ground said that the aircraft is intact with the two occupants being assisted by people near the crash site.

CAAP has dispatched investigators to the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
