A 4.1-magnitude quake hit Laoag City in the northern province of Ilocos Norte at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.
The quake occurred at a depth of 28 kilometers and was centered 102 kilometers northwest of Calayan town in Cagayan.
No immediate damage or injury reported from the quake.
