CCTV footage aired on ABSCBN’s primetime news program TV Patrol Monday night showed a bank security guard in San Andres Bukid in Manila disarmed and shot by unidentified men.
The footage showed the guard, identified in the report as Danilo Sarmiento, sleeping in his post when three unidentified men surrounded him and grabbed his service shotgun.
One of the suspects shot Sarmiento with a pen gun. The men fled the scene aboard a Toyota Innova and headed to Osmena highway. CCTV failed to capture the getaway vehicle’s plate but witnesses said the vehicle bore a red plate. According to the report, Sarmiento is now in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the incident.

My good fren IronMan FmCebu does this regularly. He uses his ranger training to disarm his sleeping guard at his post and also rangerizes his shoes.
In the morning, the guard is already at his office, shoeless and crying and begging to keep his job. But that does not happen. Sorry. He did not love his job enough to stay awake.
