Boosting Safety and Security in Bulacan: PNP-BPPO and PDRRMO Join Forces

MALOLOS CITY — The Philippine National Police–Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PNP-BPPO) has strengthened its anti-crime and disaster response efforts by integrating its command center with the CCTV systems of the Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

This real-time data sharing improves situational awareness, speeds up response times, and enhances coordination during emergencies and criminal incidents.

Key innovations include:

  • Project SMART PATROL: GPS-tracked 103 mobile and motorcycle units for faster police deployment.
  • Project SKYWATCH: 20 newly acquired surveillance drones for aerial monitoring.
  • Optimized Networked Gear: 100 Kirisun radios for seamless communication.

Powered by satellite internet via DOST and Starlink, the system delivers 400 mbps across 45 stations, ensuring all-weather connectivity during disasters.

PNP-BPPO Director PCOL. Satur Ediong said this integration makes law enforcement more efficient and responsive, ultimately improving community safety.

Bulacan is taking the lead in using innovation to protect its people.
