Manila traffic officials announced Monday that a no-parking rule will be in effect in nine city roads to clear vehicular and pedestrian traffic along streets affected or near the papal visit routes.
Among these roads are:
- Kalaw (left and right portions)
- Quirino Avenue
- Vito Cruz streets
- Taft Avenue
- Leon Guinto
- Roxas Blvd. Service Road
- Lacson
- Dapitan
- España streets
The no-parking policy will be implemented from Jan. 12-20.
Pope Francis will be arriving in the Philippines on Thursday, January 15. He will be in the country until January 19.
