Thanks, Soc! Share to more people please.
We organized a seminar in our parish conducted by Red Cross on disaster preparedness. The module is designed for deployment on the barangay level. The 40-man team has designated roles from communications, medical/hospital, fire and government coordination. There’s also a designated location where support can be centralized. It also takes into account the local census (much like a manifest) especially individuals who are sick/disabled so they can be rescued if needed/possible.
I think it’s a good framework worth implementing nationwide.
Thank you for this Sir Ace,
As you may know Cebu was rocked by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake a week ago. This basic and concise preparedness is very helpful in formulating earthquake response.
A good day ahead of you.
