APEX Global Organizes Forum on Resiliency

Makati City, PHL – Have you ever imagined how your business will fare under the most challenging and unexpected circumstances?

Businesses today operate in volatile environments and often under conditions that are beyond their control.  More than ever, leaders are compelled to prepare their organizations to be resilient in the face natural disasters, terrorism, cyber-attacks, and economic downturns.

“An organization is only as strong as its weakest link. Businesses are beginning to realize that resiliency is not an option. It’s a must,” said ECC International Country Manager, Karthik Subburaman

Such is the significance and timeliness of The Academy for Professional Excellence’s (APEX Global) Resiliency Forum Asia 2013, a first and one-of-a-kind event that will enable businesses to embed a culture and system of resiliency and allow their organizations to be ready for uncertainties. The event will run from August 28 to August 30, 2013 at the Mandarin Oriental in Makati City, Philippines.

“Resiliency Forum Asia aims to aid organizations to move form recovery to resiliency by embedding resiliency into the very core of the organizational culture.  This will empower them to continuously adjust to the challenges and threats,” the Country Manager added.

The three-day program, which includes a pre-conference workshop, will have Seven Focus Topics: Supply Chain Continuity, Crisis & Communication Management, Crisis & Communication Management, Emergency Management, Facilities Management, Information Security, and Audit & Insurance. These topics will be facilitated by international Resiliency experts from leading government, non-government and private organizations such as the International Consortium for Organizational Resilience (ICOR), Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Asia, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and Thai Airways.

The Forum will also feature a unique series of Interactive Roundtable Discussions that will provide a more meaningful venue for delegates to “exchange, enable, and excel” on a variety of issues and in the presence of industry experts.

The Resiliency Forum Asia 2013 is presented by APEX Global in partnership with ICOR and BCI.  APEX Global is the learning solutions arm of ECC International, the leading process improvement solutions provider in Southeast Asia.
