The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports:
President Rodrigo Duterte would sign the executive order to stop “endo” or end of contract on or before May 1, Labor Day, Malacañang assured the public on Monday. “The President wants it as soon as possible. We all know that Labor Day is May 1. So, I would think that it will come out on or before May 1,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in Palace briefing. Duterte was supposed to meet with labor leaders in Malacañang this Monday but the Palace has aborted the meeting.
