Hired killer who backed out main witness in Revilla case

The break in the Ram Revilla case came from the statement of Ruel Puzon, a self-confessed hired killer who identified the people allegedly behind the murder.

“What I know is that Michael and Kiko were paid P200, 000. They said Ramgen was supposed to be killed because he was bad, he defied his parents and hurt his siblings,” Puzon said in his statement to the police.

Puzon claimed he was supposed to join Michael Jay Cruz Altea and Roy Francis “Kilo” Tolisora in killing Revilla. The two men were arrested in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque last October 31.

According to Puzon, The group was supposed to attack the actor on Oct. 12 but they chose to run away.

“Michael said he and Kiko knocked on Ramgen’s bedroom door on the second floor, when they heard the sound of a gun being cocked so they ran out and got into their car,” Puzon said. Puzon also named Joseph as the group’s “contact” in Bautista’s household.

Revilla was shot and stabbed to death in his house on President’s Avenue, Phase 6-A, BF Homes Parañaque about 10:30 p.m. last October 28.
