Sunday’s predawn magnitude-6.0 quake did not do any damage to the Luzon power grid, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

On its Twitter page, the NGCP said its power transmission services remained normal despite the earthquake and that there were no power interruptions reported.

“The Luzon grid remains intact as there had been no reported cases of power interruptions and damaged transmission facilities in the Zambales, Bataan, and nearby areas where the earthquake was felt,” NGCP’s Sunday tweet read.

The quake, which occurred 43 kilometers southwest of San Antonio, Zambales at 3:31 a.m. on January 11, was felt at Intensity 5 in the Zambales towns of San Antonio, Botolan, Subic, San Felipe, San Narciso and Olongapo City.

It was felt at Intensity 4 in Pateros, Pasig, Manila, Quezon City, Makati, Parañaque, Malabon and Pasay cities in Metro Manila.

It was felt at Intensity 4 in San Mateo, Binangonan and Montalban in Rizal; Hagonoy and Obando in Bulacan; Dagupan City and Lingayen in Pangasinan; Indang and Kawit in Cavite; Bacolor, Angeles City and Clark, Pampanga; Mariveles in Bataan; and Pakil and Los Baños in Laguna.

It was also felt at Intensity 3 in Tagaytay City; San Miguel, Tarlac; Baler, Aurora; Gapan, Nueva Ecija; and Santa Barbara, Pangasinan.

The earthquake was felt at Intensity 2 in Baguio City, Batangas City and Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
