SecurityMatters visited the calamity-stricken areas on November 13 to 15 via land and sea transport to document the mayhem caused by Super Typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan) on November 8, 2013.
Travel from Manila to Tacloban, Leyte took about 36 hours which included waiting time at the port in Matnog, Sorsogon. It was slightly easier returning back to Manila. So as part of our goal to give you the latest on what is happening in these areas, we’ve captured photos along the way. The gallery will be updated from time to time as we continue our coverage.
