Security Guard Falls to Death from QC Condo Building

A security guard died on the spot after falling off the 16th floor of Victoria Towers condominium in Quezon City Tuesday dawn, police said.

Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit identified the victim as Malton Baldosa of Kaakibat Security Agency.

According to reports, Zhan Kiram, a security guard assigned at the lobby of said building, instructed roving guards Ronaldo Pura and Nilo Perez to check on a man who reportedly broke an elevator light with a steel pipe.

On their way up, Pura and Perez learned that it was Baldosa who went up and smashed the elevator light on his way to the 16th floor.

When the two guards reached the 16th floor, they spotted Baldosa inside Unit 1602.

The victim, who was reportedly drunk, was holding on a bedsheet by the window grills when he slipped and fell to his death on the ground floor.
