SAMPALOC, MANILA–A gunfire was heard along Dapitan Street, Sampaloc around 6 p.m. today.

In a brief phone interview with SPO4 Ricardo Magbanua of the Manila Police District Station 4, he said police investigators have already gone to the crime scene and no reports have been filed yet.

But he said that an unidentified victim who sustained gunshot wounds was said to have been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

According to residents within the area, they heard a commotion as if two men were running after each other several minutes before the gunfire.
