The sudden downpour Thursday (May 31) afternoon caused flooding in the streets and heavy traffic in Metro Manila.

According to the traffic center of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), waters rose to knee-deep along Marcos Highway and Dela Paz, while Pedro Gil, Quirino Ave. and Plaza Dilao were flooded gutter-deep.

Areas along EDSA Santolan, Whiteplains, POEA, Katipunan, Ateneo, P. Tuazon and Aurora Tunnel have also experienced flooding.
