Two explosions occurred in two separate movie houses in Davao City Monday evening, September 16.

The first blast occurred inside Cinema 1 of SM City Davao at around 9:00 p.m.. No one was injured in the blast. All moviegoers in the cinemas of the mall were immediately evacuated.

Minutes later, a second blast occurred inside Cinema 5 of Gaisano Mall. Five people who were inside the cinema were immediately brought to San Pedro Hospital due to hearing problems resulting from the blast.

Police are currently investigating the blasts.
