MANILA, Philippines—The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that as of 6 a.m. Thursday, Typhoon Pablo (Bopha) has left 325 people dead, 379 missing, and 411 injured. Only 32 bodies were said to have been identified.

A total of 48,893 families, or 231,630 persons, were affected. There were also 4,704 damaged houses in Regions IV-B, X, XI and CARAGA, of which 2,069 were totally damaged.

Assistance extended to affected areas reached Php 3,451,137.18, with funds coming from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Local Government Units, and Non-government Organizations/Government Organizations.

Under state of calamity are Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Compostela Valley, according to the NDRRMC report.

The following agencies have also further deployed their personnel, vehicles, and equipment: Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police, Department of Health, Philippine Coast Guard, Professional Regulation Commission, Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils, Department of Public Works and Highways, and DSWD.
