A female public school teacher was stabbed several times and left for dead in a grassy area in Victoria, Laguna Friday (February 17), police said.
Thirty-seven-year-old Antonina Labing was found dead along a grassy area beside the Provincial Road in Barangay Nanhaya in Victoria around 6:40 a.m. The victim is a resident of Barangay San Roque in Victoria.
Laguna Provincial Director Gilbert Cruz said that Labing may have been killed after fighting off the robber.
Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said witnesses saw Labing onboard a tricycle on her way to school before she was killed. Police are now hunting the tricycle driver who is the primary suspect.
