QUEZON CITY, Philippines—On or about 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, two dead bodies were found at the University of the Philippines (UP) in Quezon City, according to various news sources. The bodies, still unidentified pending investigation, were found in garbage bags at the UP Arboretum Forestry.
Recall that a victim of extrajudicial killing was also found dead in the UP Campus on August 29 of this year.
Meanwhile, a dead woman was also found in a car compartment in the afternoon of November 26. The woman, identified by the husband as Marilou Jorge, was hidden in the compartment of a Honda Civic parked in North Caloocan since Tuesday. Residents along the area noticed the foul smell coming out of the car and called up the police to check on it.
According to reports, initial investigation revealed that the murder might have been consummated by two or more persons with the victim’s body full of bruises all over her face extending to the head. Her hands were tied and her face was covered with plastic, too.
According to the victim’s husband, Marilou was left at home along with their youngest child when he went out for work around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
