The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has been placed under full security alert after authorities discovered explosives in a vehicle in the airports’ parking lot early Monday morning.
Media reports indicated that a Toyota Revo with explosives inside was discovered by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in the open parking area of NAIA Terminal 3 early this morning.
Reports also said that four suspects were apprehended by the NBI in connection to the found explosives.
Passengers should expect more thorough security checks in NAIA. It is advisable to arrive early in the airport to avoid any inconvenience.
