A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook areas of Metro Manila and parts of Luzon around 7:05 p.m., June 19, 2013.
According to the earthquake bulletin issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake was tectonic in origin with the epicenter located 40 kilometers Northeast of Polilio Island with a depth of 49 km.
Areas that experienced intensity III are Labo, Camarines Norte; Infanta, Quezon; Quezon City; Arayat, Pampanga.
Intensity II was felt in Makati City, Taguig City, Muntinlupa City, Pasay City, Antipolo City, and San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Intensity I was reported in Caloocan City.
According to Phivolcs, no damage and aftershocks are expected of the earthquake.
